So the christmas is over, huh. This year's christmas was for me very different, especially since I didn't celebrate it with my family. But I had a great time with my aunt and I got some really awesome presents! Except socks and mittens, I also got a lens to my camera!! It's a macro-lens, which means that I can photograph really small things and it's just, wow. I love it, but more about that in another entry!
I also got a lot of money, and with them I bought myself something I've been wanting for a very long time - a digital tablet! It's as the topic says an Intuos, which is like a new version of the popular bamboo tablets from Wacom. Since I'm both drawing and photographing a lot, I felt like it would be fun to use it together with photoshop. And it sure is!! I'm in love with this tablet, even though it's really hard and different to use. I'm starting to get used to it, but I can't really make anything that extraordinary yet. But after some practice I might show you something later. :D
Digital drawing is amazing when you actually know what you're doing. Tumblr is an awesome place to take inspiration from, and when seeing other people's art I'm getting motivated to improve my own. Which I sure need to do. A lot. But still! I'm drawing because it's fun, just like photographing and music. And if I manage to create something that actually looks good, that's just an awesome bonus. ;)
