These versions of the disney princesses have been created and painted by a character designer/story artist called Jeffrey Thomas. I was really impressed when I first saw them on Tumblr, and I couldn't help but share it here on the blog. Some people are just so amazingly creative. It's when I see this kind of art I become so inspired to become good at drawing as well (but unfortunately, drawing has never been any of my strengths and probably never will haha..). I wonder where these kind of artists gets their inspiration from? ^^
Be sure to check out the rest of the princesses and other drawings from his portfolio here!
I found a shop on the popular Chinese site Taobao called BOBON21 the other day, and I've fallen in love with it! Even though I don't dress much in this style, I really love it. Mori Kei is a style I love with my whole heart, with all the flower patterns, nature theme and earthy feeling. I would love to mix a little of everything; Oshare Kei, Visual Kei, Kodona, Mori Kei, Aomoji Kei, and create my own style one day. But right now I'm a poor student who only can dream about all those beautiful clothes out there, haha! ^^'
What do you think about this kind of style? Something you would like to wear as well? :)

I love this girl, Minori. Her style and fashion is so beautiful, and she looks like she just came out from a fairytale, just like a little fairy. This style that she's practise is called Shiro Nuri, (Shiro=White, Nuri=Painted, or something like that) and it's a subculture and a type of makeup when you paint your face in white. In this video, Minori mentions that many girls who do this type of makeup usually prefer to look more gothic, but Minori decided to do her own thing and just be herself. She also says that it's hard to be and do what you like, but by doing it you will discover another side of yourself. I think that's a very important thing to remember, especially if you are doing like her, an uncommon practise and such.
I know the feeling when walking around in a different kind of fashion, and know that the people are staring at you and probably think that you are kind of crazy or something. These days, I personally don't walk around in very fancy clothing all the time, but I used to, and it's not easy at all. People used to stare and whisper things. But sometimes, they walked up to me and said things like "You are so cute, what kind of fashion is this?" and such, and that's what I take with me. I ignore all the other things, because that doesn't matter. I did and are doing nothing less but being myself. And myself isn't just a boring stereotype. I hope more people can find the courage to be and dress like whoever they are, and don't hide it away. Everyone should be able to be like that, themselves. And it's our responsibility to make sure that everyone can do that without being teased or feel bad about it. All of us should stop caring so much about how other people dress and choose to appear, because their life doesn't affect ours anyway, right? Be happy for them instead, because they are doing what you maybe not have the courage to do; be yourself. ♥
To summarize this; Minori is a great role model and inspiration, and should be to everyone. She is doing what she likes the most and won't let other people knock her down. And besides that, she's very beautiful and have a very beautiful style that fits her well. :)
