I'm really sorry for the lack of updates (how many times have I said that by now?), but there is a lot of things going on right now, and no matter how much I want, I really can't prioritize the blog over school.  I have so many things I want to blog about but has to wait until things have calmed down a little.
But I don't know if I wrote about it here on the blog, but earlier this year I went to audition for a special music course, and in my case singing. They've chosen only 10 people to be a part of this course, and fortunately I'm one of them! I'm really happy and excited because of this. It doesn't only help me to improve my singing, but also gives me several opportunities to be a part of the schools (that is holding the course) concerts and projects. The "ordinary" sudents who are studying at this school is really talented and skilled, I'm only a newbie compared to them. They are of course older than me, but still. I'm looking forward to meet and play along with them. :) Yesterday I went together with my dad to the first meeting considering this course and next week we will start for real. Dokidoki.

Speaking of music, I've been thinking about for a long time if I should start posting covers of songs. It's something I really want to do, and I think about it several times a week, but I never really do it. Would that be interesting for you to see/read/listen to/whatever-you-call-it? I actually want to start using my youtube channel and maybe posting covers would be a good thing to show there?

And I'm really curious about what you want to see here on the blog as well. Like, what kind of entries you want me to blog about? I have a few ideas myself, but since you're the ones who are reading, I want to hear your opinions as well. So please tell me anything you have in mind! I'd really appreciate it. :)
Oh, by the way! This isn't really relevant, but we watched DIV's video for "Taste of Life" on our natural science lesson the other day haha. Mission complete. ;)

So in the beginning of this year I wrote an entry about a web shop which sells second hand with japanese street style in focus. You can read more about the shop here, but today I'll show you how to buy from the shop, since this was requested. I'm not going to actually pay for anything, just do a little tutorial through the process. I haven't bought anything from this shop before so I can't for sure answer every question about everything, but I'll do my best to make everything little bit clearer. :)



So here is my example item that I'm going to "buy". After making sure that the size is right and the condition is as you wish, you'll put it in your cart by pressing the カートに入れる-button. Simple as that!



So after pressing the "add to the cart"-button, this is where you'll come. If you want to continue shopping, you simply click on the 買い物を続けるtext, otherwise you'll click on レジに進む, which means "go to payment".
Something that can feel a bit confusing is to, in my case, see the 13,200 yen-text inside the right side circle. This doesn't mean that you have to pay 13,200 yen, it just tells you that you need to by things for another 13,200 yen to get free shipping, which you get when you buy for over 20 000 yen. The ordinary shipping is on 500 yen for oversea costumers.



As usual when you're going to buy anything from a web shop, you'll be asked to register/log in before purchasing, or just buy without registering. If you have an account on Usagiyouhinten, you can write in your registered e-mail and password in the first two first boxes. (メールアドレス=mail address, パスワード=password. Knowing katakana is very handy here!)
If you don't have an account, 初めての方 is where you'll look. The left button is for those who wish to register on the site, and the right is if you just want to buy without any register. Option 2 is what I'll go for this time.

And now, I'm a proud owner of a pair of pants from Innocent World, one of my absolute favorite brands! They we're quite, expensive.. But it was totally worth it! It's a big sale going on right now in almost every store here in Tokyo (maybe in the rest of Japan as well?) so I'm actually considering to keep spending a little money on clothes which costs a fortune otherwise. All those fancy brands also have this sale going on, so let's take the opportunity! :)

This is Akira, a very well known japanese artist and model, who speaks about something I find very important. Especially in countries like Japan, dressing like the opposite gender can bring much attention to you. In Sweden, a girl dressing like a boy doesn't mean anything special, it's actually very common among teenagers. But people are still so old fashioned and find boys dressing like girls very strange. But in this video, Akira speaks about girls who dress like boys in Japan, and also much about about her own impressions and thoughts.
Apparently dressing within a street style that is considered as "boyish" when you are a girl, can bring some consequences. Even if Akira herself is very successful, dressing alternative isn't always a dance on roses.

You should watch this video for a better understanding about what I'm talking about, but I couldn't agree more with Akira when she says: "I hate the whole concept of gender. All that matters is that you are beautiful."

I don't know if I've told you about this before, but one of my absolute favorite brands is Baby, the Stars Shine Bright. Their clothes are simply amazing, and I wanted to share a few coordinates I found on THIS blog!

Today was perfect. The school day was terrible, but otherwise, perfect. The main reason is that I finally was told about my home stay in Japan! I got an e-mail about my host family, and I couldn't be more pleased. It's perfect, and I'm really looking forward to meet them! I don't think I should write too much information about them here on the blog, but it's a married couple with a daughter.

I'm super tired, so I'll go to sleep now. But now you know what's going on in my maybe-not-very-interesting-life, haha. Good night sweeties!

I found a shop on the popular Chinese site Taobao called BOBON21 the other day, and I've fallen in love with it! Even though I don't dress much in this style, I really love it. Mori Kei is a style I love with my whole heart, with all the flower patterns, nature theme and earthy feeling. I would love to mix a little of everything; Oshare Kei, Visual Kei, Kodona, Mori Kei, Aomoji Kei, and create my own style one day. But right now I'm a poor student who only can dream about all those beautiful clothes out there, haha! ^^'

Finally, my first pair of circle lenses is ordered! I ordered from pinkyparadiese.com, a site I know many of my friends have used and like. The lenses I ordered are form Bambi series, and they are designed by no one other but Tsubasa Masuwaka! The pair I chose is called Geo Princess Mimi Almond Brown, with a quite small diamteter, only 14,5 mm.
Since it's my first pair, I wanted them to be above all very comfy and easy to use for someone like me, who is not used to wear lenses. I've heard from many people who've done a review with these lenses, and most of them says that they don't dry out your eyes and are very comfortable.

They will arrive within 4-7 days if nothing else happens, so the shipping seem very quick. I'm looking forward to their arrival. I promise to show and tell you what I think about them as soon as I can. :)

Maybe some of you are more familiar with lenses and might have some tips to give me? I appreciate any advice I can get. ^^

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, pretty as always. She never stops to amaze me with her style, she certainly is one of a kind. It's really amazing if you're able to stand out even in Harajuku, the center of all crazy, beautiful and wierd street styles from Japan, and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu really do. She is a big inspiration for me, and for a lot of other people too.

You have probably heard about Kyary's world tour? I'm really glad for her sake, I'm sure it must be really big for her, and I hope that she will not over work herself and that she will be able to rest a lot. It's already been a tough period for Kyary. It's not an easy thing to be an artist and fashion icon like her. But anyway, here is the schedule for the world tour!

Alice and the pirates are one of my absolute favourite brands. Their clothes are amazing, and it's exactly what I would like to wear if I only got the money. I love the mix between fairytale and gothic, and of course I have a crush on lolita, hehe. I also think the colors makes the dresses even more beautiful. If i have to pick one that I like the most, I think it would be the blue jumpsuit or the pastel dress. I wouldn't consider myself as a lolita really, but I wouldn't say no to that dress. ;)
