Oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree

So here I am, seated on my new bed in my new room in my new house, just simply loving life at the moment. I still haven’t processed everything properly, and I’m just in that state of mind where you’re not really sure what’s going on but you’re still happy.

Although I am very well aware of the fact that it’s most likely going to come a time, probably in the near future, where I won’t be this happy about everything. Everything is definitely not going to be a picnic in the park all the time, but when the time of my little downfall comes, I’d like to give myself friendly a reminder that this is an amazing thing I am doing and I’ll learn more than I can imagine from it.

But okay, just to perpetuate these past days; the flight went well after the scary security part was over (gosh you feel guilty walking through that…), it wasn’t until I was going to get picked up as the first problem came up. It wasn’t anything too dramatic though, basically the driver was late because we were in total 7 (!) students in the (gigantic) car that needed to get picked up, so it was quite understanable.

But after about two hours of waiting, during which I met my first real-life-friend from my school (shoutout to Anna if she’s reading this!), we got to get in the car. We were at heathrow for hours before we finally could be on our way down to Torbay – because of all the students that needed to get picked up at different places – which was longer than usual because of this and that, but I didn’t mind sitting and looking out of the window as the english countryside passed by, so all the extra hours passed by pretty quickly anyway.

To summorize what happened after that; I met my lovely host family, had a little chat, and went straight to bed. And after that – I woke up and got ready for my first day at my new school.

But this post is already way too long and the school deserves an entry of its own, so I will come back to that later. Until then, have a good life. <3

England - autumn 2013

So now I'm going to show you something I should have done way earlier... Dramatic, huh?
No but seriously, I think it's finally time that I show you pictures from my trip to England with dad during autumn 2013! The main reason why we went in the first place wasn't necessarily just for fun, but visiting the school I'll start study at this autumn! But that was definitely fun and it was after this trip we decided to do this for real, and now everything is sort of done. I'll move this year. All by myself. To England.

This is so surreal. I can't fully understand it, really. Can't even explain my feelings, but I think all I have to say is that it feels soooo right. It feels like I tested my wings during my trip to Japan 2013, and now it's time to fly! Sort of. So anyway, I'll live in a quite small seaside town in Devon, on the southwestern coast of England. It's really beautiful and I'm sure I'll feel at home within no time. The school isn't that big and the teacher that I got to meet seemed so nice, as well as the students.

It's a really beautiful town and I'm really looking forward to moving there! I'll live with a host family, but I've no idea with who yet. Guess we'll find out about that later.

After a short visit in Torbay we wen't back to London and spent a couple of days there before heading back to Sweden. But since both me and dad are socially awkward people and not much for bigger cities, we spent a bit too much time on our hotel room watching The Big bang Theory (someone else who's addicted? anyone?) haha. But we also ate at my favorite restaurant which serves delicious Japanese food and went to Oxford Street for a while. We also took a few evening walks and said hello to Big Ben more than once.

We actually didn't have much more time to spend in England before it was time to go home. We went mainly for visiting the school after all, but I'm sure I'll have plenty of time to explore this awesome country starting this autumn. It'll be one hell of an adventure, and sure it will be interesting to see how much I've changed after three years there. I've no idea what I'll do after high school, but I guess the future will tell. I like the future.

New year's resolutions

From my trip to northern Sweden.

So first of all - happy new year to all of you!

I know it's a little late but I still wanted to write about my new year's resolutions. First of all - those sucks. Or I suck, depends on how you want to see it. But they are just so hard - no, not hard. IMPOSSIBLE - to pursue and I don't think I've ever been able to complete any of them. But I've been putting a lot of effort to the ones I have this year and I'm going to do it wholeheartedly (weird word) this time. After all, new year's a good time to make changes I believe.

So here we go!

#1 Learn how to prioritize
- I always have so much things I want to do and that I need to do, but I never fulfill any of them because there is always too much on the same time and I'm ending up doing nothing. My head is so messy and disorganized all the time that I'm ending up stressed. Need to change that!

#2 Start and complete my projects
- Just like I need to learn how to prioritize, I need to start doing the things I'm thinking about and complete them. I also need to stop to put such a big pressure on myself all the time and realize that I can't do everything perfect all the time, and the only way I'll improve whatever I'm doing is to do mistakes and learn from them.

#3 Record a lot of music!
- This is a must. Seriously, I'm singing all the time and we have recording things so why not record some stuff and show you guys? Music is my number one interest I'd love to show people what I'm doing and get response.

#4 Do better in school
- I already have good grades, but really need to stop doing things in the last minute and plan what I need to do. Repressing schoolwork isn't a very good tactic, I need a new one.

#5 Be healthier
- Oh, how original. But I don't really want to lose weight, it's just that I want to eat healthier, go to the gym more often and sleep a bit more. Because right now I'm always tired and stressed and I think that's partly because of how I take care of myself. Eating sandwiches and watching movies all night long isn't a good lifestyle (or maybe it is...).

#6 Read more books
- That's also a must. There is so many books I want to read right now but never take my time to do. I love reading and I've done that since forever. I'd like to start reading more in english to improve my language as well!

#7 Marry Sam Claflin
- That would be awesome.

So yeah, that's it! I also want to write/photograph/study more but that's kind of what I mean with #2. It's the same with this blog, it's one of my "projects" that I want to get started with for real, just like my youtube account and such. I'd like to think that these are realistic resolutions but I guess time'll show. But it think most of them just requires me to just do it. Nothing holds me back except myself, so let's deal with that this year!
