There's snow!!

Finally!! The snow did eventually get here, and only a few days too late.

I would have loved for it to have been a white christmas, but I'm just thankful it came at all right now. I had literally lost hope in a white winter this year (thanks global warming). And not only is it white outside but I've also been snowboarding! I've missed that so so much and it felt great to be back in the slope.

I'm back in the apartment in Stockholm now where I'm going to celebrate new years, but here are some pictures from a cold and pretty walk Olli and I went for the other day with the dogs. There's no one more happy about the snow than Astrid and Nero I'm pretty sure haha. ;)

Christmas Eve

My favorite day of the year did eventually come!
Christmas was celebrated at grandma's house this year. A bit different from how we usually do it - as it's usually spent at ours - but the evening still turned out really cosy. With the lack of snow, the christmas feelings were a bit meh, but great company, good food and presents made it more than enjoyable. From mom and dad I got a gaming headset I've had my eyes on for ages and they're really amazeballs! (Turtle Beach Stealth 5009 for those who are interested).

I'm glad we had the brunch at my aunts house as usual. I don't like breaking traditions, and change in general is my enemy. The christmas food however is something I can live about. There's no such thing as not eating too much during christmas haha.

Happy christmas all of you! And let's pray for a year of more blogging and more adventure.

Almost there!

Only two hours left until christmas!

We did some christmas baking at grandmas today (like every year) and also decorated our fab-ish christmas tree. Can't believe it's been one whole year since last christmas. I feel like time needs to take a chill pill because everything is just going so incredibly fast! Like, in two months I'll be 18? How did that happen? Thank god I'm still 12 at heart, otherwise it would have been quite awkward.

Dad: "Let's look serious".

Oh deer (funny christmas joke right there), only 3 days left until christmas!
Despite no snow what so ever, I'm feeling very christmas-y, and especially after today. Olli is spending christmas here in Sweden and we went out with dad and big-sister-Linda to get a fabulous christmas tree today. I believe we did succeed.

Olli and I took the dogs and went down to the lake (which actually is covered with ice, and it's supposed to be safe by now but it looks suspiciously shiny to me) afterwards to take some photos and enjoy the weather. Tomorrow's plan is to go to town and watch the new Star Wars. It's the second time for me, first for Olli. It was my initiative to do so because frankly that movie was pretty amazing.

It's Sims 4 time now so gonna get started with that. I've been incredibly obsessed with that game lately. I just love it when you have several generations going from that one sim you started with ages ago! Getting too emotional when they die though haha.
