We completely forgot everything is closed on New Year's day.
Olli and I were all like 'oh let's go out and do something today yay!' yesterday, but it was a bit of a bummer when we realized not a single shop was open haha. But it wasn't all bad because I was very close to spending money on another video game.. But instead we ended up inside a cosy Espresso House with a chai latte each (how good aren't they?? my new obsession <3). Olli also got the tiniest of brownies which he insisted was worth the money so oh well.

But can I just take a moment and complain over places which play way too loud (and inappropriate) music? How stressful isn't it to sit and eat and relax when you have a super upbeat clubbing kind of music playing at a horrible volume in the background? That was the case at Espresso house, and it's always like that at my favorite Pizza Hut. :(
