Tokyo

5:19 PM

These are two videos from Tokyo. I've never been to Tokyo myself, but I can't help but fall in love with the city. The buildings, the people, the colors. The mix of old and new. It really amazes me, all of that. I love to hear when my friends, those who've been there, are talking about the city. What they have done, all impressions they received. It's just so, awesome. I'm looking forward to the day I can walk on the streets of Tokyo and collect memories myself. I'm really curious about what my view on Tokyo will be like after I've been there and seen the city with my own eyes. I wonder if I will continue to love the city like I do today.

Have any of you been to Tokyo, or do you have your own dream place you would like to visit? :)

    1. I think so too! And I'm sure the city amazes most people, no matter interest. Japan, and especially Tokyo is really uniqe. For me who lives in Sweden, Tokyo seems like a different planet or anything. Everything is so different, but that's partially why I love it! ^^

Oh, I'll make sure to do! Your blog is really pretty, you did well with the design :D

Aww, you think so? Thank you :) At first I was like "oh my god how this works o_o" so I did something very simple... I'm glad you like it! ^^

    3. Yes, I wonder so too. I guess they get used to it eventually, but still. I would like to try living in Japan for a longer time, and then see if Tokyo gives the same expression after that period. ^^

  2. Roughly speaking, 「Shinjuku」(新宿) ― particularly 「Kabukicho」(歌舞伎町)
is the area of adult man and gay.(*´∀`*)
Maybe, most of the common teenage girls do not go.(´▽`)

The place where teenage girls often go is 「Harajuku」(原宿)、「Shibuya」(渋谷)、

    1. Oh, I see. I didn't know that about Shinjuku... Then Shinjuku probably isn't the area I would like to visit in Japan. (・_・ヾ

But considering the other, more "girl-frendly" areas, thank you! I only knew about a few of them before. I should check out the others too! I might get some ideas where I would like to go when I'm in Japan.(⌒▽⌒)☆

  4. (Since I can not speak English(´▽`), I could not explain exactly.)

In Shinjuku, other places except Kabukicho(歌舞伎町) are normal downtown and
business district. (The suspicious, doubtful place is only Kabukicho.(´∀`*)

There is the most number of the passengers in Shinjuku(新宿) Station in Japan,
and there are office towers, 「Tokyo Metropolitan Government」, plural department stores,
multiple famous "Live Houses(ライブ ハウス)", others in Shinjuku.

    ※ "Live House"(ライブ ハウス)・・・"Japanese english" = music「Club」、「Hall」、「Ballroom」

    1. Oh I see. Very interesting, I didn't know this before either. I've only heard a little about Shinjuku, and a little about those Live Houses as well, but now I got a more clear overview. Thank you, I think you explained very well! (⌒▽⌒)☆

  5. I feel that in Sweden and Czech(others, some Europe), cityscape is very beautiful.
Although you may know, The town of ANIME 「Kiki's Delivery Service」(魔女の宅急便)
    imitated Stockholm and Visby.
And I am surprised that Czech cityscape is really beautiful., too. Prague is more beautiful than Paris?
It is like the scenery of dream, fairy tale.

    (My impression) (Supposition)
(Europe) Stockholm, Visby, Prague, Swiss, Spain etc 100%
    >>> (Southeast~East Asia) Singapore 60~70% >> Hong Kong, Tokyo etc 10~30% (*´∀`*)

However, if your objective that is not the view of the city, playing in the city, the city of Japan
    might be fun as well. ― 24hour konvini(convini)、discount store、restaurant、karaoke(´▽`)

    1. I think too that the cityscape of a lot of European cities is very beautiful. I've never been outside Scandinavia though, but I really like the historical atmosphere that Stockholm got. Visby as well has that kind of feeling, I like really that place, it's very beautiful. (^o^)

Oh, I didn't know that, how fun! I love Kiki's Delivery Service, and a lot of other Studio Ghibli movies too. (*^▽^*)

Well, I can agree about that. Some parts of Tokyo might not be the most beautiful at all. But I still love the city, especially the night view of Tokyo! And you can for sure do a lot of fun things in Tokyo as well. But I do agree, Tokyo have some not very beautiful sides. To be honest, I'm more in love with the japanese countryside actually. And I like Kyoto as well!
But it is all the opportunities that Tokyo offers that I really like, and it's almost like you can find parts of the whole world in Tokyo. It's a very interesting city for sure! ヽ(*⌒∇⌒*)ノ
